Video Seal Protection From AI Videos
Video Seal was started in February 2024 in order to develop a system to put visible watermarks on video content. It allows you to verify the source of the content you are viewing utilizing an embedded watermark QR code, or with direct platform integration. This allows government entities, public figures, and organizations to ensure audiences know the authenticity of content. Preventing bad actors from generating false content featuring public figures.
How It Works:
A user uploads a video they want to apply a "seal" to.
Video Seal scans the video content, and generates a video fingerprint which is stored on Video Seal's servers. The user then downloads the video with a "seal" applied.
The user then provides the "sealed" video to their audience. This seal corresponds to the stored fingerprint.
Video viewers can use the QR code to verify the contents authenticity and it is compared to Video Seal's fingerprint server side.
